Linocut for the Creatively Curious
Step into the studio and discover the bold, satisfying world of linocut block printmaking. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to carve, ink, and press your own original design (or we will have a few designs on hand if you want a little assistance!)—whether it’s a geometric motif, a flower, bird or something totally different or unexpected.
We’ll cover the basics of tools, technique, and safety, then we will dive into the joy of making. No experience needed—just a little curiosity and a willingness to get inky.
• 2.5 hour Introductory class: Perfect for beginners or anyone short on time. You’ll leave with a few finished prints (on cards ready to give) AND a new creative spark.
🎨 All materials provided. Warm studio vibes guaranteed.
💛 Also, if you are inclined to sponsor a seat, please feel free to do so, —we can then offer a seat to someone who may find themselves in need of a creative outlet yet have some limitations… together we can make creativity accessible and even more special.
Reservation/prepayment is required prior to the day of class… class will begin shortly after 1pm so please be as close to 1pm you can be. Everyone in class will appreciate that. Doors will open around 12:47pm or so. If something comes up and you cannot make the class, please reach out via email (michelle@max-gallerie-design.com) and we can discuss a credit towards another workshop or a possible alternative class time. We will try to accommodate if at all possible as we know that things do happen. So looking forward to creating with you!
